The
Center’s Museum depends solely on the donation and loan of military
artifacts and memorabilia for its displays. As an IRS 510(c)3
not for profit organization, the value of donations are tax deductible; anyone that
loans the Museum material, will receive public credit, and the
material will be returned upon request of the donator.
Families, who have received a United States Flag that covered the
last remains of a deceased veteran, as presented by a grateful
Nation for his/her military service to the United States of America,
are invited to donate the flag to the Center to be flown in memory
of the deceased veteran. As all flags deteriorate from the
elements, when the flag reaches a point where it is no longer
useable, the flag will be “respectfully” disposed, or returned to
the person who made the donation.
Those
who would like to honor a family member or a friend that served, the
Center also has a Wall of Honor where their picture can be displayed
in return for a donation to help maintain the Center and its
programs.
